Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about buying, selling, and earning on Valorra Exchange.

What is Valorra Exchange?+

Valorra Exchange is a verified marketplace for resale estate properties in Nigeria. It connects buyers with early investors who want to sell already-developing plots, and lets licensed agents market verified inventory for commission.

How are properties verified?+

Before a listing goes live, our team reviews the seller's identity and documents (allocation letter, receipts, survey plan, deed of assignment) and cross-checks details with the estate company. Only verified listings carry the “Verified Resale” badge.

How do I buy a property?+

Browse verified listings, open a property you like, and click “I'm Interested”. You can chat with the seller, make an offer, and choose Outright or an Installment plan (3 or 6 months) where available.

How do payments work?+

At MVP, payments are made directly to the seller's/company's designated account and tracked on the platform. You declare each transfer in your deal dashboard, and an admin confirms it. We do not hold or escrow funds at the moment.

How can I sell my property?+

Create a seller account, add your property with its documents, set your asking price and payment preference, and submit it. Our team verifies it and, once approved, it goes live for buyers and agents to see.

How do agents earn?+

Approved agents pick properties from the Resale Inventory, share their unique referral link, and earn a commission on the closed deal value for any buyer they bring who completes a purchase. The rate is negotiated between the agent and the buyer — typically around 7%, but higher or lower is fine. Attribution is tracked automatically.

What fees does the platform charge?+

A 5% platform fee applies on the seller's side when a deal closes. Agent commission is negotiated between the agent and the buyer (typically around 7%) and paid by the buyer to the referring agent. Fees are shown clearly before a deal is finalised.

Can I visit a property before buying?+

Yes. Once you express interest, you can message your referring agent or the seller to arrange a site visit and ask questions directly.
