Verification Policy

From the Valorra Exchange Legal Centre
This policy explains what we verify before a property goes live, how decisions are made, and the service levels you can expect.
1. What We Verify
Before a resale listing goes live, we review the seller's identity, the documents evidencing ownership or right to sell, the property details, and the estate/developer information provided.
2. What We Do Not Verify
At MVP we do not conduct land registry title searches, valuations, or physical site inspections by default. Verification is document-based and should not be treated as certification of legal title.
3. Document Tiers
Strong evidence (for example a Certificate of Occupancy, Governor's Consent, or registered deed) can lead to a “Verified” property. Moderate evidence (unregistered deed, allocation letter, contract of sale) can lead to “Partially Verified”. Weak evidence (receipts, survey plan only) stays “Pending Review” until stronger documents are provided.
4. Outcomes
Each submission is either Approved (goes live), returned as More Information Required (seller is asked for additional documents or corrections), or Rejected (with a reason). Rejected submissions may be corrected and resubmitted.
5. Service Level
We aim to review submissions within 48–72 hours (business days). Complex or high-value submissions may take longer, and we will communicate any delay.
6. Re-verification and Spot Checks
We may re-verify a listing if new information emerges and may perform random spot checks on live listings. A listing can be suspended pending re-verification.
7. Consequences of False Information
Submitting false or misleading information is a breach of our Terms and can lead to removal of the listing, suspension of the account, and reporting to the relevant authorities.
